Biological plating in extra articular fracture of proximal tibia and distal tibia

The treatment of fractures proximal and distal tibia is challenging, because the limited soft tissue envelope poor vascularity. best remains controversial it depends on fracture morphology, displacement comminution. Treatment options vary from closed reduction cast to open internal fixation with plate. Open plate can result in extensive dissection devitalization. We conducted a study management these by biological osteosynthesis using Minimally Invasive Plate Osteosynthesis (MIPO) technique preservation osseous Methods: In this prospective 30 patients Tibia admitted GMERS Medical college, Valsad, were studied during period FEB - 2021 OCT- 2021Results: Biological complex gives stable as well optimal complete recovery limb function at an early stage minimal risk complications.Conclusions: satisfactory functional results lack complications suggest that method should be considered periarticular fractures. complications.
